After a decade in the event design & production industry, with a sideline in renovating houses, my endless passion for interior design led me to undertake a complete rebuild and renovation of a mid century house on Shoreham Beach, Shoreham-by-Sea, near Brighton.
Turning a three-storey townhouse, untouched for half a century, from a two bedroom, one living space house into a three bed, three bath home - with feature vaulted ceiling in the extension - was a huge project, pulling in all my creative, design and logistical skills, bringing everything together to create a dream home.
Realising my thirst - and the development of my skill set - to move from events into interior design, this project was the beginning of the creation of Salt House Interiors.

DESIGN PROCESS
From simple sourcing briefs to full house renovations, depending on the scope I will either work alone or hand in hand with a wider team of specialists to deliver the project.
After initial consultation, site visit and meeting I will brainstorm - both creatively and practically - on your brief, budget, and requirements - soaking up and taking on board the essence of your home or business and the lifestyle and practicalities of the space.
Starting with something as simple as a page you have pulled from a magazine, a cushion you love, or a pinterest board you have created, I will create mood boards (plus visuals and floor plans where required) with a "shopping list" style budget.
I can work closely alongside you to create your exacting and specific vision, or alternatively take the whole project off your hands and deliver it to you in its entirety, with simple sign offs from you at key points in the project.
